POLICY DIVISION Cañar .- The Canton is divided into 12 parishes: Chontamarca, Ventura, San Antonio, Gualleturo, Juncal, Canar, Zhud, General Morales, Ducur, Chorocopte, Ingapairca and Honorato Vásquez.
OROGRAPHY .- The Cañar Canton, located in the highlands of the Andes, has a rugged topography, showing elevations of different heights across geography as Bueren with a height above sea level of 3806.00 m, the Molobog, to 3490.00 meters above sea level to 3163 m on Huirapungo The ranges of chichilo the hill and Bulobulo Cutuhuay in Suscal.
